Drug Uses
Deltasone is used to reduce inflammation and alleviate symptoms in a variety of disorders, such as lupus, severe psoriasis, severe asthma, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease. It can also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
How Taken
Take Deltasone as directed by your doctor. To avoid stomach upset take Deltasone with a meal. Do not stop taking Deltasone suddenly if you have been taking it for a few weeks. You can need a gradual reduction in dosage.

Deltasone can cause dizziness. These effects may worsen if Deltasone is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Use Deltasone with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this medication. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor. Deltasone should be used only by the patient for whom it has been recommended. Don't take less or more or take it more often than suggested by your doctor.
