Drug Uses
Deltasone is used to reduce inflammation and alleviate symptoms in a variety of disorders, such as lupus, severe psoriasis, severe asthma, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease. It can also be used for other situations as suggested by your physician.
How Taken
Take Deltasone as advised by your doctor. To avoid stomach upset take Deltasone with a meal. Don't stop taking Deltasone suddenly if you have been taking it for a few weeks. You may need a gradual reduction in dosage.

Deltasone can cause dizziness. These effects may worsen if Deltasone is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Use Deltasone with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this drug. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, contact your physician. Deltasone should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than directed by your doctor.
