Drug Uses
Deltasone is used to reduce inflammation and alleviate symptoms in a variety of disorders, such as lupus, severe psoriasis, severe asthma, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease. It can also be used for other situations as recommended by your doctor.
How Taken
Take Deltasone as recommended by your physician. To avoid stomach upset take Deltasone with a meal. Don't stop taking Deltasone suddenly if you have been taking it for a few weeks. You can need a gradual reduction in dosage.
Additional Information
Deltasone can cause dizziness. These effects may worsen if Deltasone is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Deltasone with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this medication. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, call your doctor. Deltasone should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Don't take less or more or take it more often than recommended by your doctor.
